Training Schedule and Locations
Here’s where we’ll be in the next months. Our training list is published quarterly. We welcome anyone who wants to come along, watch our dedicated teams in action, and see the skills and teamwork that go into search and rescue. You don’t need to let us know in advance—just drop by!
Our training sessions run every Tuesday evening from 19:00 and Sunday mornings from 09:30 for around 2 hours. It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet our team, learn more about SARDA, and maybe even be inspired to get involved! Whether you’re interested in volunteering or simply supporting our work, your involvement makes a difference. We hope to see you soon!
Our Training Locations

Arrasey Plantation
Located in the South of the Island, the car park can be found off the Arrasey Road, between Foxdale Mines and Glen Maye

Ballaglass Glen
In the heart of Maughold. The main car park is accessed off the Laxey to Ramsey coast road, junction opposite Hibernia and then the next right.

Black Hut/Clagh Ouyr
Off the Mountain Road, Clagh Ouyr is nestled in the lee of Snaefell and Black Hut utilises its steep Eastern slope. Both overlooking the Laxey Valley.
