At 20:10 on Sunday evening, SARDA Isle of Man were called by police to assist in the search for a missing person in the east of the Island.

Navigators Jim Macgregor, Marc Marshall, Ffinlo Williams and James Leonard arrived at the RV point, shortly followed by dog handlers Ben Scott with air-scenting dog Steve, and Olivia Crowe with air-scenting dog Mop.

The team then split into two groups: Olivia, Marc and Ffinlo worked together with Mop, while Ben, Jim and James formed the second team with Steve. Drawing on their combined experience, both groups coordinated closely to ensure the area was searched thoroughly and efficiently, with the navigators guiding the handlers and providing support so the dogs could focus on the task at hand.

At approximately 22:00 hours, both SARDA teams were stood down when police successfully located the missing individual.
